About Me

I started working in mental health settings in the NHS over 15 years ago and have worked across different clinical age groups with infants, children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings including community treatment, crisis teams and inpatient care. I have experience in working  therapeutically with individuals from complex and diverse backgrounds. I have a combined clinical and research background and enjoy keeping up to date with the latest evidence base and attending conferences.

I am passionate about working as an integrative therapist and using different psychlogical models to infrom my work but have recently developed a particular interest in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and have enjoyed training in this modality.

Alongside my private practice I currently work part time as a senior clinical in psychologist in a specialist NHS perinatal mental health service. I started out my carer working with adolescents and their families and had a passion for early intervention with young people. I soon came to realise the need for intervention even earlier in the lifecycle of a family and now specialise in perinatal psychology. I work with perinatal women, their babies and family systems in the vulnerable time from pregnancy, birth, early years and beyond. As a parent myself I understand the complexities of navigating uncertainty in this transition to parenthood but through my clinical work I have seen the benefits offered for the whole family from gaining support in this period.

I have recently relocated from East London down to Lewes in Sussex. I offer sessions online or face to face in Lewes.
